Our Amlou is a traditional southern Moroccan almond paste, prepared according to an authentic recipe with pure argan oil and honey. The almonds and argan nuts are harvested by hand in southern Morocco, after which we grind and blend them ourselves in the Netherlands to guarantee freshness and quality.

Amlou has a rich, nutty flavor and a creamy texture. Delicious as a dip with fresh bread, on pancakes, in yogurt, or as a luxurious addition to desserts.

The Argan Tree

The Argan tree is one of the oldest trees in the world. It grows only in southern Morocco and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Each Argan nut contains two protective layers containing three oil seeds. For cosmetic use, we press the Argan seeds unroasted in their natural form. This ancient secret is also known as Moroccan gold.
